This assignment was designed to prompt you to visit an actual art museum and identify the concepts of medium, content or subject matter, style and formal elements in actual works of art.
1. You will use the Google Arts & CultureLinks ( to an external site. to choose ONE virtual museum to visit online. There are many collections represented around the world, so just pick one that interests you the most to visit virtually. Once you have browsed works on your virtual tour, you will choose THREE to research within that museum’s collection database.
Rather than visual proof of an on-site visit to a museum, you will provide images of the three art works you selected and cite them at the end of your paper.
2. You will then write a minimum 3-page paper on THREE art works from the museum you visit.
3. Your paper must include proper identification of each of the three art works; a discussion of:
– the style/movement each work fits into and explanation
– a discussion of 2-3 formal elements related to each work you discuss
Use Art Critique Form for Museum Project to identify each of the art works you choose. You may print out the form and use it as a note taking aide (no need to submit the form with the paper).
4. Your paper must also include an introduction and a conclusion, a heading and proper grammar/spelling/sentence structure. Please use the “Art 100 Museum Paper Grading Rubric” (attached above) as a checklist as you write your paper to ensure that ALL required information is included in each section of your paper.
5. Include an image of each of the works you have chosen at the end of your paper. Clearly label each with the artist, title, medium, and date.

Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?

All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. I have more assignments after this, can you help me with those too?
