Ignores the power dynamics amongst the
managers
Treats the candidate as passive

PROCESSUAL APPROACH
Rejects the unitarist in favour of pluralist ethos
Recognizes recruitment is a two-way process
The candidate is also making decisions
So, the organization must do a better job of selling itself, creating a positive brand image
Helps reduce unsolicited applicants and unsuitable applicants
Saves time and money
Linked to employer branding (Edwards, 2010)
