Background: Read the findings and discussions in Kose’s research on Transformative School Vision (Links to an external site.). Based on Kose’s ideas, use the findings in the article to assist you in identifying how the list of dimensions of vision statements can be used to support this assignment while leveraging aspects of the transformative practices mentioned. Within the dimension of Transformative language, make every effort to include the five categories. Recommendations: Use Kose’s list to analyze the vision of your two selected schools by addressing the following questions: Do the vision statements address these dimensions and categories? Explain how. What is the problem if the dimensions or categories are not address? What can be improved? Mission, Vision, and Core Value Statements (ELCC 1.1, 2.4, 3.4, 4.1, 4.3, 5.3, 5.5) Write a 4 to 5-page analysis of the current mission, vision, and value statements at two schools within your state that have contrasting demographics. Gathering School Specific Data: A. Use the previous link found in the Field Placement Demographic Data Collection Assignment you were required to complete. Specifically, you should go back to the National Center for Educational Statistics at http://nces.ed.gov/globallocator/ (Links to an external site.) Key in the name of your school. The name of your school will appear as the first public school in the results. Click on the link to the school’s name. At the top of the page, click on the link for More Information. Look at the information for demographic, enrollment characteristics by grade, race/ethnicity, and gender. B. Go to the district’s website and look up the school’s website and gather school-related data on the school’s mission, vision, and values. C. Go to the Florida Department of School Improvement website: https://www.floridacims.org/districts (Links to an external site.), NEXT select the district you wish to pull up your schools, THEN select the schools (you must identify two) you wish to research. Schools that have approved School Improvement Plans (SIP) will be labeled Published and you can download a copy. The SIP should also include information on the school’s mission, vision, and values. What to include/consider in your paper: Your analysis should include a reflection on the characteristics of the mission and vision in terms of democratic values, equity, and diversity. Through the lenses of social justice, evaluate the process of creation and revision of the mission, vision, and values. Who are included/excluded? Who benefits from these statements? How do the statements promote, address, or omit social justice? Be sure to select two schools that have contrasting demographics. You may find that some schools have all mission, vision, and value statements and some may have only one of these statements, so if the schools you select do not have all three, review only the statements that are available. In addition, you may notice some of these statements are old and have never been revised, so be sure to include this information in your analysis. Developing a Vision: You will develop a vision of learning based on the school’s mission statement and core values. This will include a written section with a description of the process of developing your vision of learning and a multimedia presentation. To develop the vision of learning, include collaborative work with your administration to determine their needs and expectations regarding student learning. You will then collaborate with at least three additional stakeholders to include a parent or family member, a faculty member, and a community representative such as a PTA member or volunteer at your selected school. Also, keep in mind the philosophy of distributed (i.e., shared) leadership by engaging all stakeholders in this task, and be sure to actively engage the stakeholders in the vision development. Northouse (2013) stated “distributed leadership involves the sharing of influence by team members who step forward when situations warrant providing the leadership necessary and then stepping back to allow others to lead” (p. 289). Document your collaboration by writing a description of the process of developing your vision of learning. The final product for this task will be the vision of learning, discussion and evidence of the collaborative process, and a multi-media presentation to transfer knowledge and understanding to all stakeholders of your school regarding your vision of learning. You may use Prezi or PowerPoint for the multi-media presentation. Additional Resources on Distributed or Shared Leadership: If this term is new to you, please become a scholar-practitioner and read the short article titled “Distributed and Shared Leadership: https://edpolicy.stanford.edu/library/publications/studentcenteredlearning/distributed-and-shared-leadership (Links to an external site.). Frequently asked questions

How soon can I get my paper done?

It depends with your deadline. If you need your paper completed in 3 hours, we will deliver it in that time. All you need to do is indicate your deadline in our custom order page here. Alternatively, if you are sending us your instructions via email, please be sure to indicate your deadline.

Will it be completely original? I don't want to be caught in a case of Academic Integrity Violation.

We are as paranoid as you are. Maybe even more! And we understand that the greatest sin you can commit in your academic journey is plagiarizing your academic work. To that end, we have made sure that we check and double-check our papers using high quality plagiarism detection tools such as SafeAssign and Turnitin before submitting the paper to you.

Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?

All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. This might mean paying a little bit more for your paper as opposed to when you pay a foreign company whose writers are non-native English Speakers.

What if I need revisions? Will your charge additional for this?

Of course not! If you do happen to require a revision on your paper, our team will handle it for you free of charge. Matter of fact, we won’t rest till you are happy with your paper. So, ask for as many revisions as you need, it’s completely FREE!

Will you give me my money back if I don't like my paper?

We have very few instances where we delivered a paper that a client didn’t fall in love with. But if it so happens that you don’t like your paper for any reason whatsoever, we’ll refund your money back no questions asked.

I have more assignments after this, can you help me with those too?

Of course! And what’s even better is that we can reserve a writer permanently to work on your entire class. This comes in handy for projects which build up on each other and where you need just one writer, one writing style.

I got my order information wrong, can I change that?

Yes you can. Just reach out to our support team via email (support@essaynook.com) or live chat here and they’ll help you change the instructions.

Can I place an order via email instead of going through the order page?

Yes you can. Email Anna at anna@essaynook.com, she’s in charge of our sales team. Alternatively, you can talk to our Live Chat team here and request to speak to Anna.
