THIS ASSIGNMENT INCLUDES 2 PARTS (PAPER and POWERPOINT) !!
Overview Throughout this course, you have learned how to analyze healthcare quality metrics, determine an opportunity for a healthcare improvement initiative, and recommend a healthcare quality improvement implementation plan and evaluation process. In this project, you will demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to improve healthcare delivery for an organization. Choose a clinically or non-clinically based healthcare organization that releases public-facing data. You may decide to select a local organization or one where you work or have been a patient. For this project, you will be creating a healthcare quality improvement initiative and evaluation report in which you will describe the issue at the outset, the setting, the problem to be solved, the parties affected, and the reason why the issue is important to address. You will recommend a concise implementation plan and describe in detail how you plan to evaluate if your implementation was successful. Scenario For the purposes of this project, imagine that you work on a team that monitors quality and risk management within the organization you selected. Whether you are coming from a nursing lens or a healthcare administration lens, your task is to analyze the healthcare quality metrics for the organization you selected. Based upon your analysis of the data, you will determine an opportunity for a healthcare improvement initiative for the organization. Then, you will provide a recommendation so that the organization can improve the quality and/or safety of its healthcare delivery. Finally, describe how you will evaluate the effectiveness of your plan. Directions Your report should contain the following sections: Metric analysis: Analyze the healthcare quality metrics of your chosen healthcare organization based on their public data. Interpret the data and metrics related to the effectiveness of a healthcare organization. Assess the validity and quality of the healthcare quality improvement data that support the need for the improvement opportunity you will include in your report. Derive insights and opportunities from the data. Opportunity for improvement: Determine an opportunity for a healthcare quality improvement initiative for the healthcare organization you selected. Explain how the metrics drive an opportunity for improvement. Determine an evidence-based quality improvement tool for addressing an improvement opportunity. Apply a problem-solving framework or tool to identify what could have been done differently based on the metrics and show and/or describe your application of the tool or framework. Recommendation: Provide a recommendation for the organization you selected so that the organization can improve the quality and/or safety of its healthcare delivery and determine how to evaluate if your recommendations were successful. Develop a healthcare quality improvement initiative using a framework, such as plan-do-study-act (PDSA), root cause analysis (RCA), and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA). Determine an evaluation method for a healthcare quality improvement initiative for 1, 3, 6, and 12 months and describe that method in detail. Determine data-collection tool(s). Your project should provide evidence from at least five scholarly sources.
What to Submit To complete this project, you must submit the following: Healthcare Quality Improvement Initiative and Evaluation Report Submit your healthcare quality improvement initiative and evaluation report as a Word document. Your submission should be approximately 4 to 6 pages with 12-point Times New Roman font, double spacing, and one-inch margins. You must also include an APA-style title page. At least five sources within the past five years should be cited according to APA style.
Create a 7- to 15-slide presentation with detailed speaker notes that will create support and enthusiasm for your quality improvement initiative. You will need to select an audience for your presentation that will be affected by your improvement initiative. Your presentation will only be given to your selected audience. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria by including the following sections in your presentation: Section 1: Selection of audience: Describe your selected audience and how the audience would be impacted by the quality improvement initiative. Section 2: Metric analysis and opportunity for improvement description: Describe the relevant information for this audience from the first two parts of your course project related to metric analysis and your process for identifying an opportunity for improvement. Section 3: Quality improvement initiative recommendation description: Describe the quality improvement initiative for your selected audience, including information that would generate enthusiasm for your quality improvement initiative. Section 4: How this presentation will persuade and generate enthusiasm: Discuss techniques you used in the other sections of your presentation to persuade and generate enthusiasm for your initiative from your selected audience. Section 5: How this presentation will change behavior: Discuss techniques you used in the other sections of your presentation to encourage your selected audience to change behavior related to your initiative. How soon can I get my paper done?
It depends with your deadline. If you need your paper completed in 3 hours, we will deliver it in that time. All you need to do is indicate your deadline in our custom order page here. Alternatively, if you are sending us your instructions via email, please be sure to indicate your deadline.
Will it be completely original? I don't want to be caught in a case of Academic Integrity Violation.
We are as paranoid as you are. Maybe even more! And we understand that the greatest sin you can commit in your academic journey is plagiarizing your academic work. To that end, we have made sure that we check and double-check our papers using high quality plagiarism detection tools such as SafeAssign and Turnitin before submitting the paper to you.
Who is my writer? Is he/she a native English Speaker?
All our writers are native English Speakers. That is not to say that ESL writers are not good, we just prefer hiring native writers because we want the very best people working on your paper. This might mean paying a little bit more for your paper as opposed to when you pay a foreign company whose writers are non-native English Speakers.
What if I need revisions? Will your charge additional for this?
Of course not! If you do happen to require a revision on your paper, our team will handle it for you free of charge. Matter of fact, we won’t rest till you are happy with your paper. So, ask for as many revisions as you need, it’s completely FREE!
Will you give me my money back if I don't like my paper?
We have very few instances where we delivered a paper that a client didn’t fall in love with. But if it so happens that you don’t like your paper for any reason whatsoever, we’ll refund your money back no questions asked.
I have more assignments after this, can you help me with those too?
Of course! And what’s even better is that we can reserve a writer permanently to work on your entire class. This comes in handy for projects which build up on each other and where you need just one writer, one writing style.
I got my order information wrong, can I change that?
Yes you can. Just reach out to our support team via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or live chat here and they’ll help you change the instructions.
